Hermes is known to be a God of Thievery, and showed so soon after his birth when he stole some of Apollo's oxens. He is known to be a messenger for the gods and a guide of the dead to the Underworld. Yet, though he has his stealing streaks, he is known to have helped heroes on their quests, such as Odysseus and Persues.
