"The Last" Contest
Prompt: Write your version of what the climax of the fifth book would be, whether what you think would happen, or what you would want to happen.
So a few examples of climaxes -- the big battle between the two sides, Zeus' confrontation between Kronos, Percy's battle against Kronos.. etc.
Requirements:
- 1500 - 2500 words. No more, no less.
- Must stay in character and true to the series.
- Can only submit ONE story

Camp Half-Blood Literary Camp Session Art Competition
Please Read Carefully
With the literary day camp, Camp Half-Blood, located in Texas, Austin, out of registration spots, this is definitely a contest you don't want to miss out on.
Donated by Topher Bradfield, director of the camp, of BookPeople, we are able to give away one spot to attend the July 26 - 30, 2010 session! That is a $395.00 value!
The prize will only be for the cost of the camp. You (the winner) will be responsible for the payment of airfare and hotel accommodations. Please only enter if you are able to pay these fees.
Prompt:
Create a Percy Jackson fanart using any medium you want. It's up to you what you want to draw, so let those creative juices flow!
Before Entering:
Make sure you talk to your parents about the contest and see if the cost of the airfare and hotel is affordable. To not take away this opportunity from someone who is able to go, we will contact your (the winner) parents directly and speak to them about the contest.
How to Enter:
- Only one entry per person
- Include your name.
- Only those ages 9 - 13 may enter.
In such a case that the 1st place winner is unable to go (which hopefully won't happen because the winner would have talked to his/her parents beforehand), the 2nd place winner will be offered the prize.
