Characters: Percy, Grover, Sally Jackson, the Minotaur, Annabeth, and an unknown man.
Summary: Percy, his mom Sally, and Grover drive to a camp where safety was provided, a last resort for Sally to take Percy. On the way, a Minotaur chases them. Lightning strikes their car and slightly stuns Grover. Fighting the monster Percy's mother dies or so is said. They kill the beast and head to the camp barely conscious.

Grover let out a sharp, throaty "Blaa-ha-ha"
"Goat!" he cried.
"What?"
"I'm a goat from the waist down."
"You just said it didn't matter."
"Blaa-ha-ha! There are satyrs who would trample you underhoof for such an insult!"
