Characters: Annabeth, Percy, Luke, Chiron, Mr. D, and Campers
Summary: While in the Mess Hall the campers have quite a long conversation but just when it is getting juicy, Luke interrupts to talk with Percy. He speaks with him for a short period. Later when Percy is getting ready for “eating time”, he learns that half of his delicious food must be sacrificed to the Gods. He does half-heartedly, then eats.

“Whatever.”
“It wasn’t my fault.”
She looked at me skeptically and I realized it was my fault. I had become one with the plumbing.
